Mr. Von Rhee received a BA cum laude, honors in Geology from Lafayette College in 1975 and MS in Geology from the University of Illinois in 1977.

Upon graduation, Mr. Von Rhee joined Exxon Co. USA in Midland, Texas as a Development Geologist.  From 1980 to 1986 Mr. Von Rhee worked for several Oklahoma City and Tulsa-based independents as an Exploration Geologist.  From 1986 to 1993, Mr. Von Rhee was an Independent Geologist engaged primarily in the generation and placement of drilling prospects in the Anadarko Basin and the exploitation of producing properties.

Since 1993, Mr. Von Rhee served first as Chief Geologist for Tide West Oil Company, and later Sapient Energy Corporation, responsible for the exploitation of acquired properties.  In early 2000, he also co-founded KVR Energy LLC.  In May, 2002 Mr. Von Rhee joined Rockford Energy Partners, LLC as Vice President of Geology / Partner and successfully exited this investment in 2004.  Mr. Von Rhee is now Managing Partner for KVR Energy, LLC.

Mr. Von Rhee has 32 years experience in the Mid-Continent, West Texas, and other on-shore producing basins.  He is a Certified Petroleum Geologist by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, and member of the Society of Petrophysicists and Well log Analysts.  Mr. Von Rhee is Past-President of the Tulsa Geological Society and currently serves as a Research Associate with the University of Tulsa.  He and his family have made the Tulsa area their home since 1984.

Mr. Kvach received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University in 1975.  Upon graduation, Mr. Kvach joined Texaco working as a Production and Drilling Engineer in Illinois and Oklahoma until 1980.  After Texaco Mr. Kvach worked for several Tulsa-based independent oil companies, serving as Vice President of Garrison Engineering Company until 1987.

Mr. Kvach founded Guardian Energy Consultants, Inc. in 1987 providing consulting engineering and wellsite supervision for drilling and completion of wells.  Guardian has since expanded to include reserve reporting and cashflow analysis, contract operations, and environmental compliance documentation and continues to handle all phases of drilling and completion work.  Guardian has planned, drilled and completed hundreds of wells throughout the greater Midcontinent, the Rockies, and Illinois ranging in depth from 800 to 18,000 feet.

Guardian also operates a 100 mile gas gathering system in southeast Kansas providing all the accounting necessary for gas marketing, revenue receipt and disbursement.  Guardian provides the pipeline engineering for gathering, metering, and compression as well as maintaining an ongoing pipeline optimization program.

Mr. Kvach also owns KLO, LLC, the contract operating affiliate of Guardian Energy.  KLO is the operator of record for the wells supervised and owned by Guardian and KVR.  All accounting and Joint Interest Billing is handled “in house” and Guardian currently operates about 165 wells in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas.  Guardian has eight employees; and supplements its staff with numerous contract pumpers in the field.  Guardian’s experienced staff  includes registered petroleum engineers, certified petroleum geologist production foreman, accounting and land administration.  Nearly the entire staff has over 25 years of oilfield experience.  Guardian is a registered professional company.

Mr. Kvach has over 35 years experience in the Midcontinent area.  He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Oklahoma, a member of the OIPA and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.  He and his family have made the Tulsa area their home since  1979.
